Africa Oil: Rosgeo Oil Week 2017

 In Company news

The 24th Africa Oil Week Exhibition took place at the Cape Town International Conference Centre from 23-27 October 2017 and was highlighted as being the premier meeting place for Africa’s upstream oil and gas market.

Not only attended by international government ministers, national oil companies, investors, corporations and financiers, this was the exhibition and conference for the pinnacle of a gathering of high calibre guest speakers, heads of NOC’s, guiding scientists and CEO’s from major and independent firms.

The 2017 Africa Oil Week focussed on investor interpretation, acreage opportunities, development, industry strategy and the trade estimations for gas and oil companies coming up in the next few years.  The combination of all the top-tiered participants and contents of this year’s exhibition ensured that this was the place to be for intimate networking and was a valuable return on the time and investments of the more than 1000 delegates and attendees and 100 exhibitors.

Extruct Exhibition was honoured to be commissioned to construct the exhibition stand for the joint-stock company Rosgeo, an innovative and unique Russian company that aims to multiply its national wealth through the comprehensive geological study of Russia’s subsoil and mineral resources and to ensure the stable replacement of its mineral reserves and resources.  Their mission is to become Russia’s biggest and most efficient geological survey servicing company.

Rosgeo provide services, amongst others, in drilling, geological surveys, geophysical surveys, hydrogeology, laboratory research, subsoil monitoring and marine geology.  They were also one of the multitudes of sponsors at the 2017 Africa Oil Week.

Being but one of the professional services offered by Extruct Exhibition, we constructed the Rosgeo customized designed stand for the Africa Oil Week exhibition.  This customized stand was created with the design of the conference centre in mind, making the most of the beautiful and open spaced surroundings. We also ensured that this customized stand was able to appear as a focal point in the exhibition.

While we always keep available floor space in mind, we also endeavour to create our customized design stands to make maximum use of space allocated to each stand.  The Rosgeo stand for this year’s Africa Oil Week was particularly spacious, even more so as it was not constructed using a standard shell scheme.  Using only one wall, we were able to guarantee that Rosgeo was able to advertise their company by placing their logo and company information in such a manner that it was eye catching and informative without being cluttered and unsightly.  Furthermore, by only having one wall added to this customized exhibition stand, we were able to showcase our ability to create unique stands that don’t have to conform to the expected exhibition stand formulae.

Lastly, adding to the unique look of this stand was the fresh and modern feel of the placement of the stand elements that were of utmost importance to our client, which included suitably selected fresh indoor vegetation that made this stand the perfect place for impromptu meetings while not being economical with the addition of digital media and other well appreciated features.

Exhibition was contracted under GL Events.
